I work with professional women who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, chronic stress, and the pressure of high-achieving lives. Many of my clients are outwardly successful but are privately driven by self-doubt, overthinking, and a relentless inner critic that limits their leadership potential and quietly drains their confidence and joy.
Absolutely. This work is appropriate for both clinical and subclinical concerns. Some clients are navigating a formal diagnosis or feel in crisis, while others simply recognize that stress and anxiety are limiting their personal or professional growth. Others come seeking to sharpen their performance, strengthen their leadership, and deepen their sense of overall wellbeing.
This often brings comfort to clients who initially seek coaching for what seems like a straightforward concern, only to discover that underlying anxiety or mood symptoms are present. As a licensed professional counselor associate, I am trained to support each of these populations and we can move seamlessly between symptom relief and growth depending on your goals.
That is completely fine. Many clients come in because they feel tense, on edge, or stuck even when nothing specific is happening at work. Together we can look at how stress and anxiety show up across your days -work, family, relationships, and health- and use the same solution-focused, skills-based approach to help you feel more calm and in control.
Clients often come in for general anxiety (chronic worrying), public speaking anxiety, performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, people pleasing, burnout, and perfectionism. Many also want help with work-life balance and feeling more confident in leadership or career decisions. Others mainly want to sharpen mental skills, change unhelpful thinking, improve relationships, and perform more confidently at work and at home. Many of the same evidence-based tools can be adapted to fit your goals, whether the focus is relief from suffering, optimizing performance, or both.
Yes. Although I specialize in professional anxiety, many clients have overlapping concerns such as low mood, intense self-criticism, or interpersonal relationships. These issues can be addressed as part of your treatment plan.
I practice TEAM Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a theoretical orientation and framework for our work together, supported by what we know about how the brain handles emotions and learning. Sessions draw most heavily from CBT- considered the "gold standard" for anxiety. The focus is on understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors may be reinforcing negative cycles- then building personalized tools to help you respond differently.
Your first session is an 80-minute intake evaluation. This isn’t just paperwork and logistics. It’s the foundation of everything that follows. We explore what brings you to therapy, hear your full story, and begin identifying your priorities together.
My intake sessions are 80 minutes by design, because high-achieving women rarely arrive with simple concerns. I want you to feel heard, not hurried.
You can expect a thoughtful mix of conversation and hands-on strategies designed around your unique circumstances and goals. Some tools will feel natural and even enjoyable, while others may challenge you a bit. Growth often takes courage, and I’ll never ask you to take those steps until you feel completely understood and supported. Clients receive tailored exercises, reflections, and small action steps between sessions so they can practice new skills in real life.
I offer both 50-minute and 80-minute weekly sessions to build momentum and skills. Longer sessions allow us to go deeper each time, maintain momentum, and prevent breakthroughs from being cut short — often reducing the overall time and cost of therapy.
Length of therapy varies based on your goals and current stress level. We focus on one specific concern at a time to ensure sessions feel purposeful rather than open-ended. Many clients notice meaningful changes in how they think and respond to anxiety within the first several sessions when they actively engage in the process. Some clients feel ready to conclude therapy after 8 to 12 sessions. Others prefer to continue addressing additional areas of life. Many of my clients graduate knowing they can reach out for a brief tune-up, while others schedule monthly or bimonthly check-ins to maintain progress.
Absolutely. Your professional demands come first-scheduling adapts to your availability.
Small, selective caseload means high-touch care, direct access to me, and tailored attention rather than rotating intake coordinators or receptionists.
Yes. All sessions are conducted entirely online through a secure private platform, so you can meet from the comfort of your home or office — anywhere within South Carolina. This allows for early morning, lunchtime, or afternoon appointments, eliminating travel time and keeping your evenings free for what matters most.
Extended sessions often prove more efficient for high-achieving women with demanding schedules. Breakthroughs don't get cut short, and neither does the work that follows them.
I accept credit cards and HSA/FSA. SuperBills are provided upon request for potential insurance reimbursement.
I am a private-pay practice, which offers greater privacy and scheduling flexibility. I am happy to provide a SuperBill for potential insurance reimbursement through your insurance provider.
I ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations are charged the full session rate, unless I’m able to fill the time slot, in which case there is no charge. Your time is valuable, and mine is reserved exclusively for you.
I respond to messages within 24 hours during business days. For urgent matters, our scheduled sessions provide dedicated, focused attention.
